The Innovative Inaugural Ribbon Cutting Art Exhibition
An Innovative Arts Celebration!
The Innovative Inaugural Ribbon Cutting Art Exhibition Celebration is the formal introduction of DAFA to Rhode Island and the New England area. This multi-cultural and diverse art exhibit will be showcased at Realpro by the Water Art Gallery. The celebratory innovative exhibition will feature the original visual and performance creations of regional and diverse artists whose works display proficiency and excellence in art making. The artwork will powerfully reflect themes that are universal and/or specific to the artists’ experiences and journeys. In earnest, the exhibit aims to highlight the brilliance, creative artistry, and perspectives of the DAFA artists from various artistic disciplines. The exhibition will be on display from September 8th to December 12th, 2025.
What to Expect
Prepare to enjoy an unforgettable evening featuring:
- ✂️ A celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony
- 🎨 Meet & greet with local artists and art enthusiasts
- 🎶 Live music, poetry, and performances
- 🍷 Hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, and good company

As we prepare for this exciting launch, DAFA is grateful for the outpouring of support from community members, donors, volunteers, and our growing family of artists. Thanks to the leadership of our board of directors, and through our recruting program, DAFA has welcomed over 10 new artist applicants just in the month of July alone, most of whom have confirmed their participation.
Why It Matters
This launch event is more than a celebration—it's a declaration of purpose. DAFA’s mission is to ensure that all artists, regardless of background, are seen, supported, and empowered. Through collaborations like this with RealPro Gallery and other institutions, we aim to build long-term platforms for cultural dialogue, equity, and creativity.
We invite you to stand with us at this pivotal moment in DAFA’s journey. Your presence affirms our shared belief in the transformative power of the arts.
