Ramon Santiago was born in Moca, Dominican Republic in 1971. He resides in Lynn, Massachusetts, United States. He is an artist deeply rooted in the creative artistic process, to which he dedicates himself with unavoidable passion and fervor, resulting in an extensive, delightful and admirable art production that includes figurative and landscape pieces, and others with hints, tones or strokes that reflect other memorable and everlasting artistic expressions. A set of his figurative works masterfully intermingle enveloping movements that seem to graphically describe the rhythm of musicians playing instruments, inviting an outburst of passion in the spectators, as if he integrated the music into an attractive and playful symbiosis. In these paintings in particular, the light is a visual collapse that reveals itself as a splendid universe with a life and existence of its own.
